Prefers: Tarn, although he hears "my lord" a lot, being a nobleman's son.
2) How old is he/she? Early 20s, maybe 22
3) Is your OC a boy or girl? He's a dude, dude.
4) What's his/her race? Hue-mahn
Appearance:
1) If this character were to suddenly become part of the 3D world, and ended up in a heavily-populated area, how many stares would he/she get? A lot. He's what you would refer to as drool worthy. He's wanted to be a general in the army for as long as he can remember so he's always been physically active. He's not a hulking muscular powerhouse, but he's very lean and very fit. He trains himself in endurance so he can always be on the go, and as such he never seems to be tired. He's a tall man, dresses VERY well since he's the son of a nobleman and has his wardrobe custom made. His normal attire includes a snowy-white, very plain doublet, tight fitted through the chest, with wide sleeves that allow for good range of movement. He wears medium brown leather leggings, with shin-high boots that have the tops turned down. He wears a slender gleaming sword on his right hip (left handed) but it's not a rapier, it's just a thin sword. He's got wavy, blonde shoulder-length hair, white straight teeth, and bright blue eyes. Under his right cheek is a scar in the shape of a tear drop, which he got from his bodyguard (explain it later) in a sparring match, which also might draw some attention.
2) Is your character considered normal in his/her own world? Yeah pretty much. He's a noble and as such he's pretty much allowed to do what he wants. Except for his grammar and accent though, he's basically like a commoner.
3) What would be his/her most recognizable feature(s)? Wavy blonde hair, and a scar in the shape of a teardrop on his right cheek.
4) Would you consider your OC as attractive? Not into guys that much, but he's meant to be, yes.
Personality:
1) Temper: He's a smooth guy. He dosen't love confrontation but he won't shy away from it. He's way too eager to prove himself in battle, so sometimes he may pretend to be angry to provoke others. Normally he's a calm guy though.
2) Does your character ever get depressed? Hasn't happened yet, but it's liable to if something bad happens in the book. If I finish the book... if I ever REALLY start the book. >_<
3) Leader or Follower? Leader, leader, leader. It may seem like he follows his bodyguard Derrigan's wishes most of the time, but they think very closely, and the bodyguard believes Tarn should learn some of life's lessons himself. So Tarn will sometimes do things his own way leaving Derrigan to pick up the pieces, or step in at the last minute to save him, if he needs it.
4)What is the main aspect of his/her personality? Outwardly he is everything everyone expects him to be: the golden boy. He's go great looks, he's charming, he's suave, and confident as all hell. Inside though, and only to those who know him well he is very insecure. He's had everything handed to him all his life, including his ability to specially wield weapons. He's eager to prove himself and since it seems likely he'll be a commander or general some day he usually tries to do it through battle without thinking things through.
History:
1) Does your OC have a family of any sort? Yes, he's got a father, and a step-mother. He dosen;t really know the step-mother all that well, and he dosen;t have any care to. Tarn and his father are fairly close though. Tarn also considers Derrigan somewhat family, though his relationship with the bodyguard is changing as he grows older and is awakened to the world around him.
2) Is your character out on his/her own? Kinda...ish. He lives in his father's estate, but his father is the... I dunno what you'd call him. Mayor I guess. Though it's a giant city, so he's a little more important. Anyways the estate consists of a few wings and sections and even a few different buildings. He lives in one of the buildings with a portion of the staff who look specifically after him, his meals, his wardrobe, his... well everything. All provided for by his father, but with very little interaction with the man.
3) Has he/she encountered any traumatizing events? Not yet, but there are plans for a possible betrayal/death that will shake him very, very deeply.
4) What was probably the best time in his/her life so far? When he was a kid and he got to play with some of the soldiers on guard duty around his father's estate. More recently it was the academy he attended to learn how to fight.
Romance:
1) Single? Yes, but he has a lot of fun, though he's getting tired of women just wanting him because of his face and his position. He wants to find someone he's actually interested in, not just someone who can make him feel good.
2) Has your OC developed any romantic relationships? No. He's had relationships. But they were ALL physical. He dosen't hate all the fun, but he's bored of empty relationships like the one he sees his dad in with his step-mother.
3) Virgin? Actually, since I put all of that stuff ^^up there^^ you'd think: duh, no. But he is. He's had a lot of fun, done a lot of other stuff, but he's still a virgin.
4) Does your character like flirting? He thinks it can be fun. He also knows how to use it to get what he needs if that's what it takes. He dosen't do this chronically, but if there's a situation where flirting will get him to the necessary point he needs to be, he'll do it.
Symbolism:
1) What animal would you associate your OC with? There are two. One would be a cat, because he's sleek, and refined and he knows it. The other would be a baby bird. It dosen't quite know how to fly yet, but it'll try anyway, without remembering the consequences of gravity.
2) Musical Instrument? Acoustic guitar. Soft, a little more upper-class than the electric, but it can prvoide a sense of power if you play it right.
3) Element? Can't decide on one. Possibly Earth, he's solid in his beliefs, he's got true inner power, and it takes a lot to wear him down. Also possibly wind because he's graceful and flowing. It's not the most powerful of the elements but it can do a lot of damage when in the right situation.
4) Planet? No idea what you mean.
Showing the Love:
1) Do you draw your character? No, can't draw.
2) Do you write about him/her? He's the star of a book I really should write, though I keep putting it off.
3) Do you use him/her in any rpgs? I would if I was in any RPG's right now. But I'd be using his more defined character, where he knows how to call on his special wielding technique.
4) What other ways have you appreciated your OC? I'm doing this quiz
RANDOMIZE!
1) Is your character wanted for anything? Wanted by the ladies for a lot of things. By the law? No.
2) What are three weaknesses in him/her? Low self-esteem (never thinks he's worthy), gets nervous when someone he really respects pays close attention to him, dunno a third one.
3) Strengths? Charming, good looking, smart, adaptable. His other main strength is his strength in combat which comes from his special way of weapons wielding. I don't really have a name for it yet, but he is a perfect natural. By holding a weapon something in his mind calculates the angles, arcs, strengths, and speeds of a weapon. It becomes almost like a part of him almost instantly. In the beginning of the book he dosen't have it, but by coming into contact with an artifact, he awakens a magic hidden in his blood which gives him this power. As it awakens in him he finds it easier to access the information about the weapon, and as the story goes along it even gives him a better understanding of how to fight. Not just physically, but allocation of resources, and the use of tactics all come easier to him. It makes for some very interesting fight scenes.
4) Does your OC drink or smoke (ect.)? Drinks alcohol. Technically because of his training he's not supposed to, but he likes to anyways. He can get carried away sometimes since he's young and still new to it. It worries Derrigan, but normally he can keep it under control.
5) What's one quirk about him/her? He absentmindedly touches the teardrop scar on his cheek every once in a while. He could be talking to someone and do it and he won't even realize it. If someone mentions it he becomes embarassed and uncomfortable, but he always ends up doing it again.
6) Does your character have any phobias? Failure. It's not a crippling phobia or anything like that, but he hates the idea of it. He does everything he can to make sure he won't fail because he's afraid of what will happen to himself and to tohers if he does, especially if he becomes a general like he hopes.
7) What could you do to get him/her into a blind rage? If he's drunk, he's easily provokable. You can just insult him a little and he'd call you on into a fight, and usually still win somehow. When he's sober it's harder. To get him angry you'd have to physically attack him, and then either Derrigan will step in and stop the fight, or Tarn will normally trounce the guy. He's never been in a "blind" rage though. Maybe after a certain plot point occurrs he might, but I can't give that away.
8) Does your OC like chickens? He likes the way they taste when marinated properly.
The Final Question:
What would you consider your relationship with your character to be like? He IS me in some ways. Obviously not all ways, but in some ways. Mainly I think I'd say I respect him a lot. He tries his best and he makes a few mistakes, but he genuinely is a good person and he's trying to learn to be better. He's going to be a general some day after all, or at least that's his dream. He's an almost perfect fighter, so he could live an easy life, fighting in King's tournaments and living off the earnings, not being supported by his father. Instead he's going to keep training, gain respect and work his way up through the army, rather than using his father's connections to gain rank, or living an easy life of fighting and money.

"This World was not meant for one so beautiful as you"
Doing pretty well, thanks. Stuck at a boring dead-end job in the local mall pushing digital cameras and photofinishing. I got myself a new camera, Nikon's D-90 digital SLR. Haven't had any good shooting opportunities lately with Canadian winter being a huge blockade for my new thousand-dollar camera, haha.
How have you been? We haven't talked in far too long. I'm still at the same MSN address if you spot me online : )
Sorry it's a dead end job but I'm glad you have one.
*hugs*
